GETTING TO KNOW ME!
So, I'm the new kid on the block!  Not to be confused with the "New Kids On The Block"!  Although, I did have a major crush on Donnie and Jonathan many many years ago!  Did I just admit that? 
It is so great to be a part of your day...the hours can go by pretty slow.  I like to think that I'm sittin next to you chatting, like old friends!  That helps pass the time!  Can you tell I may have wasted some time gabbing with coworkers in the past?  It's fun!  I'd love to know whats on your mind.  Feel free to send an email whenever you want. 
Is your boss on your last nerve? 
Are you sick of getting your car fixed AGAIN? 
Did you have a great weekend? 
Do you have a secret crush that you can't tell anyone else about? 
Whatever it is, this inquiring mind wants to know.  Seriously!

Here's the short (or long) on me...
Feel free to send me a birthday present on June 25th...HA!  I'm now in my thirty's and my biological clock is ticking...ticking so fast my head is spinning!  Which I'm sure tells you I don't have any kids, YET.  Working on that.  I am married to a great man from Texas.  My very own cowboy!  Well, he's more of a city boy from Houston, TX but I like to pretend.  :)

Although we don't have kids, we do have a family! 3 cats Claire, Sammy and Petey! 1 dog, Sophie.  Some fish too, but they aren't really active members of the fam.  They don't have names either.  I tend to call them all "Fishy".  Talk about identity issues!  We rescued our animals.  Although it can be tricky at times, it is the best way to go.  These cuties may not be here right now if we wouldn't have given them a home.

Outside of radio, I keep pretty busy.  I have a small business, I scrapbook family, friends, and my endeavors associated with the radio station, and I love "my shows".  I'm slightly addicted to the shows I watch.  Thank God for a DVR.  If I wasn't able to record all my shows, I'd never see them.
TV Shows I Can't Live Without:  The Office, ER, Lost, My Name Is Earl, American Idol, Big Love, Forensic Files, any one of VH1's "Best of" shows.
Other shows I Love:  Prison Break, The Apprentice, Days of Our Lives.
"Kat"-A-Palooza weekend concert would be:  Kenny Chesney, Journey, Keith Urban, Bryan Adams, Brad Paisley, Def Lepard, New Kids On The Block, Terry Clark, Van Halen, Heart, Bon Jovi, Carrie Underwood, The Cars, Pat Benetar, Gary Nichols, Tim Mcgraw, Michael Jackson pre 90's, Mariah Carey, Poison, Billy Currington, Beastie Boys, Harry Connick Jr. 
Necessity:  Sun glasses...keeps me from squinting and pulls back the hair! 
Can do without:  Shots!  I hate getting shots...doesn't it come in a pill?
Love to cook:  OUT!  If it can be grilled, I say do it!  Or my Italian dishes are savory too!
Take me out to the:  Dancefloor!  I've been known to linedance, and salsa too!
